if you are on windows or linux run %appdata% and find and open the .minecraft folder inside you'll find the folder mods and drag the mod in the folder then run minecraft and your'e ready but if you are on mac go to:   ~/library/Application Support/minecraft/mods/ drag the mod inside run minecraft
